It is hard to believe but we only have 3 more weeks until the end of the academic year. At this time of year it really is a juggling act between finishing the year but preparing for next year as well.
As our children get tired, at this time of year, we notice that their coping strategies diminish dramatically and we have to spend more time dealing with children who have made poor choices regarding their behaviour. Can I ask that all parents remind their child or children of the expectations that we all have around their behaviour. This will ensure everyone has a positive and enjoyable end to the school year.

ESF Chinese Talent Show 2019
Well done all Peak School participants in the ESF Chinese Talent Show this year! Congratulations to the winners!
On Wednesday 5th June Peak School took part in the Under 10 International Schools Rounders Tournament at Hong Kong Football Club. It was the first time Peak School has taken part in the tournament for 5 or 6 years. The children have been training over the last 5 weeks, every Friday after school with Mr Evans. It was a mixed tournament of 5 boys and 5 girls. The children have really enjoyed learning how to play the game, training and playing with great enthusiasm.
They did a fantastic job, learning and improving with every game. They ended up coming first in their group, beating ICHK and Shatin. Next, they played Kennedy in the semi-final and won by 1 rounder. That took them to the final where they lost to a very experienced GSIS team.
They all had a great morning and were very proud of their achievements. They represented Peak School wonderfully and were a pleasure to coach. They are looking forward to helping coach the Year 4 and 5 children next year!
Lunch Service for Next Year
We are excited to announce Peak School will be offering a lunch service for parents who wish to order homemade lunches for their children. This service will trial at the beginning of the next school year for those who are interested.
The company we will be working with is The New Luncher, who have already successfully implemented this program in other ESF schools. The hot meals will be delivered directly to the classroom where your child can enjoy a variety of healthy lunch options. All meals are made from scratch every day and are free from artificial additives as well as nuts and shellfish.
3 menus every day: Asian, Western or Vegetarian
2 optional add-ons: Snack and dessert
2 sizes of Lunchbox: Small and Large adapted to each age special needs
* The lunches come in eco-friendly packaging and children need only to bring in their own cutlery.
The prices: Lunches cost HK$47 for a small box of the main meal, HK$52 for a larger portion. Each extra (dessert and snack) priced at HK$15.
Stay tuned for more information on the confirmed menu and how to order!
