Principal’s Message

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

I do hope your children enjoyed their mid term break last week.  The school has been buzzing this week and culminated with a wonderful Year 4 performance as well as an enjoyable trip for Year 2 to the Discovery Museum, both taking place today (Friday).

This week in my blog, which you can access by clicking HERE, I cover the following:

  • St John’s Support – Parent workshop
  • Peak School App – Communication App trial
  • Year 5 Pop Up Shop – marketing material
  • Pollution Monitoring – local data informs local decisions
  • Staff Contacts – why are they no longer on the school website?

A big two days for rugby fans this weekend.  I am obviously hoping the All Blacks win, but go into the weekend just as nervous as all the other fans from around the world.  May the best teams win as 8 becomes 4!

An important time for our Indian community in the coming 7 to 10 days, so I want to wish you all a very happy Diwali.  My thanks to the many parents who came in on Tuesday to help us celebrate Diwali with our children.

Have a great weekend everyone and thank you for your continued support.

Warm Regards

Student Council and Box of Hope

Box of Hope is an annual charity project aimed at providing useful/educational gifts to underprivileged children in Hong Kong & Asia donated by Hong Kong school children and local organisations.

Each year Peak School, through the Student Council, like to support this project by inviting  families to create a Box of Hope.  The Student Council will be presenting this information to the school on Friday 24th October and  would welcome any contributions from families beginning  Monday October 27th-Friday November 8th.  Essential items include soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes and families are kindly reminded not to include food or money or to seal the box.  A rubber band makes processing the boxes through Customs much easier.

Stickers  with additional information and to write a message  will be made available for students to use to label their box.  Further information can be found on the link HERE.

Many thanks for your support and generosity.
