A big thank you to all the parents who gave up their time, this week, to attend the 3 Way Conferences with their child/ren and teacher/s. It is terrific to have such a supportive parent body who is so engaged with their child’s learning. The 3 Way Conferences are an excellent forum for the child to reflect on their learning and articulate their next steps.
One particular theme that has been consistent this time round is the number of parents who have spoken about their child or children growing in confidence in their own ability. This is so important as it highlights children appreciate and understand that everyone can improve and that it takes effort and grit.
I would like to announce that Susan Keating has been appointed to the Office Manager/Admissions Secretary role at Peak School. As previously mentioned Clarissa will be leaving us on December 10 as she is returning to Malaysia. Susan will start with us on December 3 so that she has time for a handover with Clarissa. Susan has a lot of experience with customer service, has worked as an EA at Bradbury and most recently worked for Mandarin Matrix which is the software the school uses to support our children’s learning of Chinese.
Enjoy your weekend everyone and thank you for your continued support.
